Don’t Waste Buildings has teamed up with HOWELLS and Birmingham School of Architecture and Design at Birmingham City University to host a day of case study tours and talks in Birmingham with a focus on retrofit opportunities and challenges in the West Midlands.
The morning session will begin at 10am at the offices of HOWELLS followed by a walking tour of the Custard Factory and the Typhoo Tea Factory in Digbeth. We anticipated that this part of the day will conclude at noon.
The afternoon session will start at 1.30pm at The Shell, Parkside Building where we are assembling an expert line-up of leaders in the retrofit world to discuss the opportunities and challenges across the West Midlands. John Christophers from Save Smallbrook will be one of the speakers. We will keep you updated as further speakers are confirmed.
We are hoping to convene for networking and drinks after the round table.
The event is FREE to attend. If you are interested in attending, please register early and reserve a place.
