Join Abyss Founder & MD and Don’t Waste Buildings Co-Founder, Richard Nelson, as he speaks at this year’s Futurebuild on a panel entitled ‘Circular Economy: Mapping Exercise’, organised by the Architect’s Climate Action Network (ACAN).
This session will bring together leading non-profit organisations working in the circular economy to share and discuss current initiatives, challenges, and opportunities.
Representatives from each organisation will be invited to give a short five-minute overview of their work, followed by an open, facilitated discussion to encourage knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The session aims to create a focused space for alignment, shared learning, and identifying opportunities to strengthen circular economy action across the built environment.
The panel will be co-chaired by Michelle Sanchez, Sustainability Lead at RSHP and Circular Economy Coordinator for ACAN, and Laura Mohirta, Architect at Barr Gazetas and Circular Economy Coordinator for ACAN.
Other high-calibre speakers will include:
Debbie Ward, Director - Reuse & Circular Economy - ASBP
Jonathan Plant, Director and Chair - NLA Circular Economy Special Interest Group and C&W
Nitesh Magdani, Member - Green Construction Board
Saskia Manson, Founder - Re:NEW
