Abyss’ Managing Director, Richard Nelson, in his role as Chair of the Institute of Directors Property and Built Environment Group, had the pleasure of attending the market closing event at the London Stock Exchange on July 2nd to support and celebrate the Global Experiences of Black Professionals.
Richard attended the event along with fellow IoD members Perminder Ghataore – Vice Chair of the IoD Property and Built Environment Group, Nzube Ufodike – Chair of the IoD Emerging NEDs group, and Josh Ngondo Cert IoD – Institute of Directors professional development team, as well as others.
The LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and BEING network welcomed the Institute of Directors (IoD), City Black Employee Resource Group (CBERG) and Citi to jointly celebrate the Global Black Experience Through the Lenses of Multinational Organisations.
The event was an opportunity to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of the Black community to our shared success and to promote a more inclusive future.
Apart from enjoying networking with the many accomplished professionals who were in attendance, Richard was pleased to sign ‘the book’, which records all attendees of the LSE market opening and closing events throughout history, which will live forever in the LSEG records.
